Google AdWords is the most widely used paid online marketing platform of this time. Besides the traditional web formats, Google AdWords also offers a strong mobile advertising product portfolio. We at UBARU believe it is vital for everyone who gets in touch with online advertising to understand the dynamics and features of this platform. Advanced Google AdWords is for those who are already familiar with Google AdWords but want a deeper understanding of the advertisement service.  In this course we go more in depth on the keyword planner, Google trends and re-marketing. Students must bring a laptop and understand the basic fundamentals of Google AdWords, it is recommended to first take the course “Google AdWords 101” before enrolling in this advanced version. This course has two parts. The first part is the advanced version of Google AdWords, as in the nuts and bolts of the advertisement service. The second part will be devoted to a more strategic approach of Google AdWords. When to use it, AdWords in different markets and reporting and analytics. Throughout the course we will divert to other horizontals, like landing page design and how to manage a team of AdWords specialists. The goal of the course is to give you the most complete and advanced overview of Google AdWords possible. The course is designed for full time digital marketers that want to specialize in Google AdWords, for entrepreneurs that want to bring their advertisement to the next level or for students that are looking for a head start in their digital careers.

Advanced AdWords Principles

We will start with the advanced AdWords principles, the keyword planner, setting up conversions and campaign optimization. We will go in depth on how to use auction insights and the bid simulator. We top it off with an overview of bid adjustments for show-rooming, a user case, bidding types, Google trends, A/B testing and how to do re-marketing.

Google AdWords Audience Insights and Customer Match

Learn to obtain audience insights and go in depth on customers matches. Build your own re-marketing list for search ads (RSLA), explore advanced AdWords targeting and perform an audit to see what is working and what is not. Set up target CPA bidding and know why and how to use AdWords dynamic ads. We end this module with adding site-links to your ads, phone as a call to action and a discussion about the next steps after your AdWords campaigns.

Research and Planning in AdWords

From a more strategic point of view we will continue the course with research and planning in AdWords. You will gain in depth knowledge about subjects like the opportunities tab, AdWords editor, the latest reporting features in AdWords, third-party tools and AdWords scripts, auction insights and the bid simulator and working with the display planner.

Managing and Reporting

The managing and reporting module learns you about managing AdWords teams, how to use manager accounts properly and it will give you reporting tips and tricks from real life case studies. After this you will learn about mobile marketing in combination with AdWords, mobile landing pages, emulator views and bid adjustments for mobile and tablet. We end the module with a discussion about mobile search versus display metrics, how to do proximity marketing and how to handle excessive mobile bounce rates.

Using Automation in AdWords

In the sixth module you will discover the rules and automation in AdWords, you will work with automation with AdWords scripts. You will automate a weather-based campaign yourself, perform dynamic search and display automation and learn the ins and outs on how to use customizers and MCC scripts.

Video Advertising in AdWords

Last but not least, we will go to one of the most interactive parts of digital advertisement, video. After this last part of the course you will walk away with a clear overview of video advertising and the Google display network. We top it all off with advanced PPC tips and tricks.
