Facebook advertising is one of the main digital marketing channels used by brands to reach new customers, engage existing customers, and move their business forward. In this course, students will learn how to fully maximize the usage of Facebook Advertising, adapted to their business needs. Students will learn how to set up a proper campaign structure; monitoring and optimizing their campaigns on an ongoing basis; and learn to track, segment, and analyse data needed to improve their game. This course is for entrepreneurs, business owners, and upcoming digital marketers who want to learn Facebook Ads or step up their game. An overview of Facebook advertising; getting started

Welcome to this beginner course in Facebook advertisement. Master the platform where your customers spend a lot of time! We start this module off with an introduction to Facebook advertisement, where and how Facebook ads appear and how Facebook targeting and the algorithm works. We end this module by teaching you how to define your business, your customer and your product in the right way.

Facebook campaigns and dashboards

With Facebook campaigns and dashboards you will learn to set up your account, to set realistic expectations and what types of campaigns you can use. After you have enough basic knowledge of these concepts, we will have a look at the Power Editor and explore the interface.

Segmentation and structure

Important in Facebook advertisement is that you have a good understanding of your sales funnel. We will go into subjects like funnel-based campaign structures, how to segment your audiences in Ad sets and what type of segmentation is needed.

Testing and your audience

Testing is the key to successful advertisement! In the fourth module you will learn A/B testing while structuring. After some exercises you will learn to name your ad sets correctly, about re-targeting and logging your audience.

The art of copy-writing

What is an ad without a good text right? Here you will learn everything about all the different ad formats and when to use them. Also copy-writing for Facebook ads and tracking your ads with UTM tagging will be part of this module.

Facebook and data

Data is the new oil they say, and Facebook ads are no exception. In the last part of the course we want to introduce you to data from Facebook ads. You will walk away with a clear understanding of different data points, how to read data and how to do data-driven optimization for ad set and ads. We will close this course with a discussion on how to expand your campaigns.
