We’ll start with an introduction to Google Analytics it's purpose, learning basic metrics, and then build an understanding of how we can report on site performance by looking at website traffic, content, users, and conversions. It will cover how to use different reporting tools in the Google Analytics interface. This course is for anyone who is new to using Google Analytics or needs a refresher on the basic Google Analytics reports and tools. Next to Google Analytics we will dive into the importance of a good website and how helpful it can be for a business. People that are aiming a career in Digital Marketing like students, or people that are setting up a business, are encouraged to come to this course. Introduction to Google Analytics

We start this course with introducing you to all the high-level aspects of Google Analytics. You will learn what it is, why we use it, how the concept works and key definitions and terminology to keep you on track during the course. When the groundwork is laid out, we are ready to go!

Getting started with Google Analytics

After the introduction module we go straight into the nuts and bolts of the matter. You will get a solid overview of different account, create your own Google Analytics account and install your tracking tag. During this part, you will also practice with sample data and learn how to create views and add filters to them.

The core concepts of Google Analytics

Ready to step up your analytics game? In the third module, you will explore all there is to know about the Google Analytics interface. You will learn how to create and analyze reports, to work with different metrics and dimensions that allow you to take a more custom approach and we will have a look at sources.

Audience reports

You will learn how to read and create audience reports. With sample data you will have a look at your own audience overview, demographics and interests. You will get a better understanding of how to work with geographical data in Google Analytics and to use behavior reports to see engagement. We top it off with learning you how to set up your own technology report, to see what devices your users are using.

Acquisition reports

We will dive into acquisition reports, traffic reports per channels, source and medium. You will practice with setting up this reports yourself. Last but not least, you will explore referral traffic within the all traffic report.

Behavior Reports

A big part of Google Analytics is behavior reports. You will learn how to set them up and analyze them. You will work with site content reports, review site speed and learn what you can do to optimize it.

Conversion reports and track events

In the seventh module of the course you will learn how to handle and work with track events, and get a better understanding of how to review an event report. After this you will explore goal reports and how to configure them.

Additional features and conclusion

We end this course with providing you with some additional features. This part is all about practicing your new knowledge. You will have the chance to work with Google Analytics and real-time data! On top of that you will know how to add custom campaign tracking after this module. We top it off with a conclusion and discussion. You will discover what is the best way to apply Google Analytics in your business.
