What is Google Data Studio

We start this course with a complete overview of what Google data studio is and why we use it. You will learn for what kind of data you can use it best and get familiar with basic concepts and terminology. When the groundwork is laid out, we will go into importing your data from raw files or other databases like Cloud SQL and mySQL. We end the first module with setting up your data studio. You are now ready to go!

Interacting with charts and tables

In the second module you will learn about interacting with charts and tables and best practices in filtering your data. You will practice with how to get the best and fastest insights from your data by using the filters properly and work with sample files to practice copying and editing reports. We top it off with teaching you how to edit and add data charts.

Data range and filter properties

You will explore all there is to know about data range and filter properties. You will learn to connect your data, create beautiful charts, sharing reports and sharing data sources.

Tracking reports and data visualization.

We end the course with an in-depth module on tracking reports and data visualization. This part of the course includes Google Analytics. You will learn to work with its basics and how it is connected to Google data studio. After this, you will learn to import someone else his data in your data and how to create data visualizations. You will practice with creating a report from scratch with sample data sets. The course will end with your data visualization and presentation on the data you worked with during the course.
